वो ऐतिहासिक जीत जिसने पूरा किया क्रिकेट के भगवान का सपना और 125 करोड़ जनता बोली " जय हो "

 

आज का दिन शायद ही कोई क्रिकेट प्रेमी भूला होगा , क्योंकि 2 अप्रैल की तारीख इतिहास के पन्नों में दर्ज है. ये विश्व कप अपने आप में बहुत अलग था. इंडियन क्रिकेट टीम जो 2007 क्रिकेट विश्व कप बुरी तरह हार कर आयी थी और उसका हौंसला एकदम टूटा हुआ था. तभी ऐलान होता है 2007 पहले T-20 क्रिकेट वर्ल्ड कप का , लेकिन इस वर्ल्ड कप में टीम के 3 बड़े खिलाड़ी सचिन तेंदुलकर , सौरभ गांगुली , राहुल द्रविड़ खेलने से मना कर देते है और टीम की कमान एक युवा विकेटकीपर महेंद्र सिंह धोनी के हाथ में आ जाती है पर किसी को ये नहीं पता था कि ये खिलाडी टीम इंडिया की किस्मत बदलने वाला है और हुआ भी वहीं टीम ने 2007 क्रिकेट वर्ल्ड कप में युवराज सिंह , गौतम गंभीर , श्रीसंत , हरभजन सिंह , इरफ़ान पठान जैसे युवा खिलाडियों के दम पर विश्व कप अपने नाम किया और इसमें जो सबसे बड़ा योगदान था वो ओर कोई नहीं टीम का युवा कप्तान महेंद्र सिंह धोनी ही थे. 

2011 विश्व कप की कहानी सबको पता है पर उससे पहले क्या हुआ शायद ही वो किसी को पता होगा। इस जीत की नींव 2008 से ही रखनी शुरू हो गई थी, जब BCCI ने टीम के नए कोच के रूप में गैरी कर्स्टन को नियुक्त किया।  उसी दिन से कोच ओर बाकी स्टाफ़ खिलाडियों के साथ उस ऐतिहासिक जीत के पल को जीने के लिए मेहनत करने लग गया. कोच गैरी कर्स्टन ने अपने इंटरव्यू में कहा था कि मेरे लिए ये बड़ा काम था और उससे बड़ा काम था टीम में मौजूद सचिन तेंदुलकर को कोच करना पर सचिन ने कभी भी ये  महसूस नहीं होने दिया कि मैं उनके साथ क्रिकेट खेला हूँ , शायद ये ही इस टीम की सबसे बड़ी जीत थी. 

यह तीसरी बार था जब विश्वकप भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप में आयोजित किया गया। 1987, 1996 और 2003 में विश्वकप में बेहद करीब पहुंचने के बावजूद विश्वकप को हथिया ना पाने की टीस पूरी तरह से इस विश्वकप में दिखाई पड़ी साथ ही विश्वकप 2007 में बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ मिली हार का बदला भी असल मायनों में इसी विश्वकप में लिया गया।

 इस जीत की शुरुआत हुई बांग्लादेश से और इस टीम के खिलाफ कुछ ज्यादा गुस्सा भी था क्योकि इसी टीम ने इंडिया को 2007 वर्ल्ड कप से बाहर किया था. भारत ने बांग्लादेश के साथ खेलते हुए ग्रुप मैच में वीरेंद्र सहवाग के 175* रन और युवा विराट कोहली के 100 * नॉट आउट  की बदौलत 373 रनों का पहाड़ जैसा लक्ष्य खड़ा किया और बांग्लादेश को बुरी तरह हराकर 2007 की हार का असल मायनों में बदला लिया। भारत के सामने जो भी टीम आई, उसे भारत ने बुरी तरह धोया।

बांग्लादेश के बाद इंग्लैंड की टीम यहां सचिन ने शानदार शतक लगाया और ज़हीर खान की शानदार बॉलिंग ने मैच बराबरी पर रहा। भारत ने इस विश्वकप में एकमात्र मैच साउथ अफ्रीका के खिलाफ गंवाया लेकिन जिस प्रकार की शुरुआत भारतीय टीम ने इस मैच में की थी उससे एक समय ऐसा लग रहा था कि भारत उस मैच में 400 पार बनाएगा। भारत की पारी की शुरूआत करने उतरे सचिन-सहवाग ने अफ्रीका के प्रसिद्ध गेंदबाजों स्टेन व मोर्ने मोर्केल की जमकर बखिया उधेड़ी। लेकिन अंतिम ओवरों में भारतीय टीम लड़खड़ा गई और भारत की पारी 293 रनों पर ही रुक गई। साउथ अफ्रीका के पार्नेल ने आशीष नेहरा के पारी के आखिरी ओवर में ताबड़तोड़ रन बनाते हुए भारत के हाथों से मैच छीन लिया। भारत ने इस मैच के बाद किसी मैच में हार का मुंह नहीं देखा।क्वार्टरफाइनल में भारत की मुलाकात तीन बार की विश्वविजेता ऑस्ट्रेलिया से हुई। भारत ने इस मैच को बड़ी आसानी से जीतते हुए ऑस्ट्रेलिया को बाहर का रास्ता दिखाया। ऑस्ट्रेलियन टीम ने शायद पहले ही  भांप लिया था कि इस टीम को रोक पाना असंभव हैं।

पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ मैच इस विश्व कप का सबसे हाई वोल्टेज मुकाबलों में से एक था जिसको जीत कर टीम ने फाइनल में जगह बनाई। इस मैच में सचिन का 5 बार कैच छूटा , ऐसा लग रहा था मानो क्रिकेट के भगवान का सपना पूरा करने के लिए भगवान भी साथ दे रहा हैं. फाइनल की कहानी सबको पता ही है कि कैसे धोनी के सिक्स ने भारत को 28 साल बाद विश्व कप जिताया। 

इस जीत का श्रेय बेशक पूरी टीम को जाता हो पर गौतम गंभीर और युवराज सिंह ऐसा लगता है मानो वो भारत को विश्व कप जिताने के लिए बने है। 2007 T-20 वर्ल्ड कप में जैसे दोनों ने खेला वो सबने देखा। युवराज सिंह को विश्व कप के दौरान कैंसर था पर वो खेलते रहे । हरभजन सिंह , श्रीसंत ये दोनों गेंदबाज 2007 & 2011 विश्व विजयी टीम का हिस्सा रहे और समय समय पर अपना काम किया। ज़हीर खान , मुनाफ पटेल , आशीष नेहरा पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ आपने जो किया वो पूरे देश ने देखा। इस टीम के हर सदस्य ने अपना 100 % दिया। 

इस विश्व को जीतने से पहले और जीतने के बाद पूरी टीम ने मिलकर इस जीत का श्रेय सचिन तेंदुलकर को दिया और उनके सपने को पूरा करने के लिए जिस जोश से ये टीम खेली शायद ये ही वो मोटिव था जो इस ऐतिहासिक जीत का कारण बना और 125 करोड जनता ने जाति, धर्म से ऊपर उठ कर एक साथ बोला " जय हो "

The Indian cricket team, which lost the 2007 Cricket World Cup badly, had a broken bogey. Young players like Gautam Gambhir, Sreesanth, Harbhajan Singh, and Irrfan Pathan claimed the World Cup and the biggest contribution was Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the youngest captain of the team. 

The story of the 2011 World Cup is known to everyone, but hardly anyone will know what happened before that. The foundation of the victory started to be kept in 2008 when BCCI appointed Gary Kirsten as the team's new coach.  From that day on, the coach and the rest of the staff worked hard to live up to the moment of that historic victory. In his interview, coach Gary Kirsten said that it was a great job for me and that was a great job to coach Sachin Tendulkar in the team but Sachin never realized that I had played cricket with him, perhaps the biggest win of this team. 

This was the third time the World Cup was held in the Indian subcontinent. Despite reaching a very close world cup in 1987, 1996, and 2003, the World Cup was fully visible in the World Cup and the revenge of the defeat against Bangladesh in the World Cup 2007 was actually taken in the same World Cup.

 The victory started with a little more anger against Bangladesh and the team as the same team ruled India out of the 2007 World Cup. India scored Virender Sehwag's 175 * run in the group match while playing with Bangladesh and 100 * not out of young Virat Kohli, a mountain-like target of 373 runs and actually replaced the defeat of 2007 defeating Bangladesh badly. Whatever team came to India, India washed badly.

After Bangladesh, the England team here Sachin scored a brilliant century and Zaheer Khan's brilliant bowling equalized the match. India lost the only match in this World Cup against South Africa, but the kind of start that the Indian team made in this match, at one point of time it seemed that India would cross 400 in that match. Sachin-Sehwag, who came out to open India's innings, took a dig at famous African bowlers Steyn and Morne Morkel. But in the last over, the Indian team faltered and India's innings were stopped at 293 runs. South Africa's Parnell snatched the match from India's hands as he scored runs in the last over of Ashish Nehra's innings. India did not see the face of defeat in any match after this match. India met three-time world champions Australia in the quarterfinals. India won this match with great ease and showed Australia the way out. The Australian team probably already realized that it was impossible to stop this team.

The match against Pakistan was one of the highest voltage bouts of the World Cup, which won the team's final place. Sachin missed 5 catches in this match, it seemed as if God was also accompanying him to fulfill the dream of the God of cricket. The story of the final is known to everyone how Dhoni's six made India the World Cup after 28 years. 

The credit for this victory undoubtedly goes to the entire team, but Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh seem to be as if they are made to meet India for the World Cup. In the 2007 T-20 World Cup, they all saw it. Yuvraj Singh had cancer during the World Cup but he played. Harbhajan Singh, Sreesanth These two bowlers were part of the 2007 & 2011 world victorious teams and did their job from time to time. Zaheer Khan, Munaf Patel, Ashish Nehra what you did against Pakistan was seen by the entire country. Every member of this team gave his 100%. 

Before winning this world and after winning, the entire team together credited the victory to Sachin Tendulkar, and the zeal with which the team played to fulfill their dream was perhaps the motive that led to this historic victory, and 125 crore people rose above caste, religion and spoke together " Jai Ho ".
